FilRight Pro HIPS filament
With FilRight Pro HIPS filament you can print very detailed and larger objects. This 3D printing material almost does not shrink, gives all prints a matte finish and is widely used in model building.
What can HIPS filament be used for?
Because FilRight Pro HIPS filament is light, durable and easy to bond, this filament can be used as both basic and support material for 3D prints. If you want to use HIPS filament as support material, the use of a printer with a dual extruder is required.
Adding open spaces to 3D prints
HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) filament is excellent for use in combination with ABS filament. Because HIPS dissolves in the liquid limoneem, this 3D printing material is extremely suitable for adding open spaces to 3D prints. Purchase the solvent D-Limonene here, so you can get started right away.
FilRight Pro HIPS filament is available in different colors and in both 1.75 and 2.85 mm diameters. The filament is delivered on a 750 gram spool. The recommended print temperature is between 220°C and 270°C. A heatbed (temperature between 80°C and 120°C) is required. In addition, we advise you to use an adhesive such as Printafix for the print bed to prevent any problems with the adhesion of 3D prints.
Other colors and coil sizes are available on request.
We have a technical data sheet available for more technical specifications regarding HIPS filament.
The delivery of FilRight Pro HIPS filament
Because FilRight Pro HIPS filament is delivered on a transparent spool, you can see at any time how much filament is still available for making 3D prints. Prior to delivery, the filament is completely sealed, so that any damage during transport is prevented. The spool is delivered in a specially designed and carefully packed cardboard box.
